The Ethics of Using AI to Draft Motions (1 Hour Ethics CLE Credit)

While many lawyers are drawn to use AI to make their legal research and writing more efficient, several recent high-profile cases have shown what can go wrong when it is not used carefully. In this session, Meryl Carver-Allmond, BIDS Training Director, will discuss the ethical implications of using AI to draft motions, particularly in light of our duties to zealously advocate for our clients and be truthful to the court.

This CLE is approved for 1 hour of ethics CLE credit. It is $25 for assigned counsel, free for state-employed public defenders, and not open to prosecutors. Register here.
